The Waters Farm is a growing and sustainable farm dedicated to organic growing methods, promoting the local food economy, and educating the community about the benefits of locally grown organic and naturally grown foods. We currently grow vegetables and strawberries year round using season extension structures including high tunnels, walk-in tunnels and low tunnels as well as seasonally grown crops. We offer four 12 week CSA seasons with a growing number of available shares. We also offer organically grown brown eggs to individuals and local restaurants from our happy pastured laying hens. We plan to continuously expand our production to include aquaponically grown tilapia, log grown mushrooms, blueberries, honey and molasses. Our intent is to offer workshops on composting, cover-cropping, season extension, food preservation and more. We have an annual Fall Farm Day that will be held this year on October 18th with many fun activities.
